Didn't actually do anything to Earth Day, but saw all the wonderful Earth Day layouts and just wanted to join in the fun. The photo was taken during my honeymoon in Taiwan, from the top of Mt Alishan. Watching the sunrise is one of the highlights of a stay at Alishan, so there we all were in the freezing winter cold, waiting. Before the sun finally made its appearance, i occupied myself by snapping photos of the surroundings and the unbrella-like cloud formations on top on the mountains. i still remember the collective gasp of awe as the sun finally LEAPS right out of the mountain and floods our world with its bright, bright light...
