Little Zephyr had his birthday party a week before Neko-chan's. All the bigger kids had fun, and so did the adults, but yes that's the birthday boy actually CRYING during the birthday song. And the Mater on top of the birthday cake is a real toy, and makes a nice change from edible cake decorations that are really too pretty to eat! (i still remember eating the last of the chocolate decorations from my daughter's 2nd birthday cake. It was a really pretty banner with her name on it, and i swear my heart broke into a million pieces as i steeled myself and bit into it. i actually teared up!)
