Journalling:

“A storm was brewing. The wind has picked up and a mass of purple clouds was coming in from the West. It felt good to have my hair whipping around my head. I thought it might feel good to have hail beat down on me. Sometimes storms outside are the only relief for storms inside...”

Wow Jody, this is a stunning photo and a really lovely layout. I love the quote and the colors of the background paper.

Incredible picture, Jody! Did Darren use a special camera, or did you stitch together several photos? I love the way the ribbon you used echoes the movement of the clouds, and the quotation is perfect for this picture.

This is stunning! Just enough embellishments to make it feel finished, but not enough to detract from the photo. That quote is perfect for it, too. Great layout to showcase that incredible photo. Thanks for joining in this week's Thursday challenge!

Beautiful photo and I love the way you have framed it in the rectangular format. The sun's rays coming through are so pretty. I really like the blue ribbon underneath too, so delicate and complimentary to your colors. Very pretty.

What an amazing shot! I like the panoramic, two-page view. You have echoed the colors of the pohto beautifully with your papers and elements. Striking page!
