The journaling says:
"4 families bought a house in a culdesac under construction in south Charlotte, NC in 1984. Each family had two kids. These kids grew up together as the trees and bushes grew taller. Now three of the families have moved on, the kids have grown and married and had children of their own. Time marches on but the friendships cultivated within this circle of homes remain."

Your journaling made me tear a little. So sweet and fortunate to have had the opportunity to share lives together for so long, building friendships that last and beautiful memories. I love how you created this layout, the butterflies, the music score, the burnt paper showing the passage of time. So touching and lovely.

Love your layout showing the changes that took place over the years. Great background and I love those butterflies. I also like how you lifted the photos off the page. Lovely layout.

Love the before & after. Nicely scrapped, too - I like the square arrangement of the photos that make it easy to compare & the bracket and middle pieces look great.

I love the page made for me! I have already blogged it so that all the former Brentford Drive gang can see it! We are the only ones remaining and will be moving on soon, too. Indeed, it was a perfect place to raise our kids, we really got lucky when we put the contract on that lot oh so many years ago.
