This is a wonderful photo. We have a bird called a cormorant which is also a fishing and stands with its wings outstretched to dry like this. It is all black and I suspect, a lot smaller. I love your choice of embellie - the shape of the leaves echo the shape of the bird's neck. Great job!

Gorgeous photo! I like the big flower on the side, with the orange from the challenge in its center. The orange sanding along the edge is a nice touch, too.

Stunning layout. The dark background so perfectly compliments the soft reds and greens. Those birds are amazing. I see them each morning on my bike ride around the lake and they are just fastenating standing on shore and holding their wings wide open to dry. I love how the light in the photo penetrates the feathers of his wings so nicely. Beautiful floral embellishment.

My goodness, this is outstanding. I think it would be beautiful framed, hanging on a wall. It's photography at its best and enhanced by a well designed layout.

Gorgeous Diane! Your photo is so amazing - the "posed" bird so lovely and I can't believe the water reflection and magical quality to it all. Even how the bird is almost illuminated by the sun - I can even see the glow through his feathers! Your layering is wonderful and background blending so pretty. The long flower along the edge really completes a special page. Stunning layout and one of my favorites!
