Monday Challenge 04/30/12

This is a photo of my paternal grandparents taken in the 1920's somewhere between Omaha and Minnesota. I don't know who took the photo. It might have been my dad, but unfortunately, he's not around to ask. This has always been one of my favorite family heritage photos and I thought it would be cool to recreate it with my husband and me.

What a super-cool idea! I love the way the newer photo turned out. You re-created it perfectly! The sunny daisy background and vintage blended edge make this whole page sing, and I love your pretty flower and ribbon embellishments, too.
Neat pictures, Pat. The blending on your background paper is beautiful.
I love that you recreated the old photo and then ti echoing Title is just perfect! I love this! Great LO
Pat this is wonderful. I love heritage layouts, and yours is just great. I love the 'older' photo and the one you recreated with you and your husband. Love the background paper and the lace edged overlay.
So wonderful! What a neat idea to recreate the picture. Great layout.
Wonderful layout Pat! I really like how you have "repeated history" with the photos! Great embellishments and I love the word art too!
Cool idea, Pat. I'll have to think about it for a while. Your page is awesome! The yellow is so warm and inviting. I too love the title treatment.
This is a great idea and I love how you styled the newer photo to look like the older one!
This was really a neat idea! And your LO turned out great!
