This is adorable, Sue! I love the photo of those cute kids and their striped ornaments! The striped border looks festive, and I like all the other stripes you managed to sneak in here . It was fun seeing a Christmas layout this time of year - puts me right back into the Christmas spirit!

I did it the reverse way: cut out the photo strips, laid them onto the original photo, then extracted just the bits of the photo that weren't already cut out in the strips. It was less extracting that way. Isn't that a fun idea? I saw it somewhere, and decided it would work for this challenge.

Great use of stripes in this page! Even after you explained what you did, I'm still, "Huh?", LOL. It's a very cool effect, though. Your stripey Christmas tree is adorable, and so is that photo of your boys. Hope you still have these ornaments. Such a sweet memory!
