My eldest with her bike, I remember this was taken a couple of days before we moved to Yorkshire.

To me layers mean the papers, not each individual embellishment as well.

What a sweet photo and such a pretty bike. She must have been so proud. I like your layering with the picture, envelope, notebook, papers etc. Lots of layers and so pretty.

Well, I was referring to the number of layers in the layers palette, but you are certainly right on visible layers. Regardless, this is a darling layout! The photo is definitely the focal point with the bright colors, and I like the echoing slightly-softer shades in the rest of the layout. The picture is adorable. I love your colour combination and your layers. Seeing your daughters bike reminds me of a photo I have of my DD at that age and her bike was very similar.
