Oh, Jode what a wonderful depiction of what is happening inside you. And how brave you are to scrap and explain it all. I love how you showed the boxed-in feeling with all of life happily going on around you - such creative expression. I also really like the road going around the edge keeping everything out and from going inside. I daresay that working on pages like this are good for your heart, soul AND brain! Lovely layout...

First, please let me say that you need to do whatever you must to protect yourself! I think you are very self-perceptive, by the way. Listen to your instincts and trust them about what you can let in and when. Please don't think you need to rush yourself. I'm speaking as a SG friend, not at all a professional. Just someone who cares about you. But, I'm glad you are working with a therapist to help you through this whole process. I agree with Amy, above: give yourself a pat on the back.

 

I also agree with the above comments that you express your feelings through your art and that, in itself, is healing. This layout is amazing! And I think you've depicted your feelings so beautifully.

This is awesome. All the feelings that are showing on this page. I can actually see what you are going through. All I can say is WOW, I'm actually speechless with wonder.
