This photo was taken at the hospital, Christmas Eve Day, after I had spent fourteen days in the hospital. My family surprised me by bringing all the presents to the hospital and celebrating Christmas there. I was very thankful for their thoughtfulness. I also was able to go home that day, so it ended up being a very happy day.

This is wonderful Sue! I love the smiles on everyone's faces and how you cropped your great photo. Your background layers are so pretty and I like how you tilted to show them all. Your embellishment cluster is lovely - what a special layout of a sweet time...

never would have guessed you were in the hospital. what a great family photo and I love the layered pprs, especially like that bright pink ppr and those pretty pink flowers in the corner.

I love the paper stacks and that great pink color you used. Nice idea to use the overlay. Love the circle embellishments, too, especially the time. Poor you spending Christmas Eve day in the hospital! Ugh. It's good that your family was there, and that everyone could smile for the camera. It's actually a great photo!
