Loved the freebie! Thanks, Ang!

I wanted the color gradation in the freebie for a photo I took earlier this month of an almost tornadic looking sky...scary and beautiful. Ang's Earthy Paper from this month's SS club darkened it the way I wanted. Lots of fun playing with this one!

Very dramatic photo, Dot. Darkening the paper worked really well for the background. The yellowish part of the paper really matches the clouds.

Ooooh that's some very effective blending and combining of paper with paper template!! Nice work. Looks perfect with that amazing photo!! I really love the way you've styled and colored the frame and word art too!

Your photo is amazing, Dot! Wonderful blending, as always. I love what you did with the freebie paper - it picks up just the right amount of gold from the picture. Nice use of the brush frame, too. I especially like the clouds -- and my favorite part (well... one of my three or four favorite parts) is using one of the clouds for a journaling tag. Super fun idea!

OOohhh.. VERY majestic, Dot and so cool that sunset was seen from your back door! Love your use of the freebie and how elegantly you framed that magnificent photo. Also really like your clouds and journaling plate - very pretty. Did you make that from Joyce Shardt's tutorial? :D Lovely page....

I do like that photo you captured and you have shown it off well on this page. Nice work with the background paper. Those clear sort of clouds look good on the page.

yep, that photo is just amazing...! I am glad Ang pointed out that you blended the paper with the template cos I was looking at it and wondering... looks almost like a colour burn... really nice... Did you add gold to the photo? It looks wonderful and I like how you kept the photo as the star of the page :-)
