It looks... Well, not right.
This is not my first attempt at digi layouts but one of them but it doesn't look right somehow. I can't put my finger on why it doesn't look great so could one of you fantastic ladies or gents please cast a critical eye over it and tell me why it looks odd? I quite like scrapping with no photos just word art and sayings BTW.

When I look at your layout, my eye darts all over the page. Nothing grabs my attention. Maybe you could try clustering your cute embellishments in one corner or across the bottom to draw more attention to that wise quote. I think if you move the branch down to the bottom and eliminate the button heart and butterfly, you might like it better. I'd love to see the remake and what you decide on.

I like what you have chosen but I think Ann is right, a cluster in one corner might be better.
