Thursday Challenge 31 May (Opposites) and Friday Challenge 1 Jun (Thought bubble)

Thursday Challenge 31 May (Opposites) and Friday Challenge 1 Jun (Thought bubble)

i had to think long and hard about this one, until i came across this framed photo in my living room. We were at Hong Kong Disneyland, and this was one of those professional jobs where they take your photo while you're having fun in the grounds, then pretty it up for you when you buy it. The big shiny 'Pooh' came with the photo and i have neither the skill nor the motivation to remove it, so i simply added the XXX to make it look like a signed autograph from my favourite bear. And yup, i had seriously brought my little Pooh to meet the big costumed Pooh. i even have a photo of my Pooh held up against the iconic Disney castle as a backdrop! =)

Note: The text in the thought bubble can be almost directly translated as 'Small Pooh meets Big Pooh', and it rhymes with a Chinese saying that roughly translates as 'Small magician meets big magician'. When used in context, it describes a situation where someone with a little skill or ability in something - and is typically rather proud of it - comes up against a master in that particular field, and is put back in his place.

Adorable page! I especially enjoyed the translation of "Small Pooh Meets Big Pooh"!
