Thur May 31 Opposites Challenge

 Share

I'm usually up-to-date on challenges, but I let this one go by for lack of inspiration. Then today I was going through some photos and realized that both our sons have the same May-flowering plant outside their front doors, one on the east coast of the US and the other 3,000 miles away on the west coast. It somehow took me by surprise, (pleasantly, I should say), so I decided to scrap the photos for the Opposites Challenge. Info is in the exif. Thanks for looking!

Hey, that's pretty cool that they are both in a climate temperate enough for the plant. Your background paper color and blending is really beautifully done. I like your tags too.

Wow - love this take on opposites Diane and very neat that the bleeding heart plant is growing for both your sons on opposite coasts! Love your beautiful photosa and the soft colors you used to color your background - so pretty! I also really like how you framed the pics and the word art. Pretty page! :)

Diane, this background coloring is just beautiful, love how you used art diary and added some strong colour with your muted tones... The simple discs to show the opposites is really clever and I like how you used liorah after commenting on it on jeans page! Funny how we use things we see and like straight away isn't it?! I think it is really cool both boys have the same plant let alone have it flowering at the same time, shame you are all so far apart though :-( love this page, love the design- into my favourites it goes :-)

I cannot imagine my children living 3000 miles away. Mine live 5 minutes away. I love the background paper and the lovely photos. Great font and lovely colors. We have been looking on the internet for this Bleeding Heart plant. It's really lovely.

That beautiful paper sets off the photos really nice. I love the Bleeding Heart plant, and I wish I had a garden or even a terrace to grow them on. How interesting that both your sons have the same plant in their gardens 3,000 miles away.

Thanks for joining in on the challenge...I'm glad there's no time limit on these. I would hate to have missed this page because of a deadline. Thanks for sharing!
