I never really considered the technical aspects of design and just would do what felt right. I still am not quite sure I have accomplished the line idea but I gave it a go with this 2-page layout and tried to incorporate the lines in the background marketing sample and the heart strings.

Awesome page! I love the photo and how it pops off the dark background. Fantastic journaling and I love the bokeh hearts and the touches of color. Perfect heart name/date embellishment, and I really like the photo corners and the stitching. I just love all of it! This is definitely going into my favorites.

What a marvelous 2 pager. They have a dramatic beauty that gives importance to the photos and the journaling. Very creative on so many levels. I, too, am putting this im my favs files.

This is so creative and lovely... love how you've taken the lines concept to another level by assembling all those 'strips' of papers behind to form a subtle textured background instead. And the photo is BEAUTIFUL! Going into favourites. =)

What a clever idea to use the marketing sample as a background! Great for lines, too. I love that photo of Jaxon, though I don't think he could take a bad photo -- he's adorable and the camera loves him. Beautiful journaling, Cheryll. The hearts and heart strings add a lovely softness and affection to the page.
