Diamond Jubilee

Hurrah! I'm not that keen on red, white and blue as a colour combination but somehow managed to come up with an idea for this challenge. I used my new PSE 9 and Brandy's Ultimate Artist Action on this lovely Cecil Beaton photo.

I've added diamond stars in the form of the Southern Cross which appears on Australia's flag. Elizabeth II is still Australia's head of state.

I love the artist action, colors and the lovely photo of the queen. I think the diamonds are a clever touch. Beautiful layout.

Gorgeous Eden. Wow - you're doing great and up to your wonderful par with PSE and I love what you did with the photo. Your colors are pretty and I really like the shiny stars! :)

Wow! Wonderful concept, and beautifully done. The deep rich blue makes the perfect night sky for your diamond southern cross. I love the effects on Beaton's photo. Beautiful blending, too. And lovely title font. This is just amazing, Eden! It looks like you are adjusting to PSE9 just fine. :D

Eden this is gorgeous. The ultimate action works so beautifully on the pboto and your blending with the background is seemless. Love the diamond stars and the red pops.

This is stunning, Eden! We're lucky PSE behaved like a lady for you with this as a result! The idea of the Southern Cross in diamonds was inspired. I love the wonderful textures, and your blending of that photo is masterful. It captures the feel of "loneliness at the top" or the "weight of responsibilities on her shoulders" (I'm not describing it very well). Very, very lovely. Thanks so much for joining in this week's Saturday Color Challenge (especially as it's not your favorite color combination)!
