Declan's New Eyeglasses_Color Challenge_NSD

I am WAY late, but got such a laugh out of Shannon's color challenge choices that I had to join in! Did you all see it? Colors are: Feeling a Little Blue, Seeing Red, Dark Blah and Light Blah. Hilarious! Here's a link.

LO is DGS#2. I think he's a charmer in his glasses.

Journaling: Declan has been wearing corrective lenses since he was two years old. We think he looks really great in his glasses!

TFL, and thanks for the fun and funny challenge, Shannon!

PS: Edited: I did go for a lot of texture after thinking that his hair looks so textured in this picture.

He does indeed look like a charmer. And so intelligent! I love the way you wrote his name and the date! Great grungy masks and blending, too. You've gotten some wonderful textures into this page -- and, of course, the colors are just super. I actually own the half-tone dots and am putting this into my favorites as an example of how to make them look extra-special. Marvelous page, Dot!

PS -- I laughed, too, at the color names, and I think we scrappers could probably come up with more suggestions for a future color challenge, don't you think? :D

Oh, he's going to be a big hit with the little girls! Declan is a real little heartbreaker and I just love the grunge look of his layout! The textures are excellent and perfect for your page! Love the embellies you've put to use! Super page!

That's such a great photo. He looks so cute. I love the dots and the grungy look. Going into my favorites as well for a 'boy' layout idea. TFS.

Great layout Dot and I agree - Declan looks quite adorable in his glasses! Love your take on the color challenge and your giggle at their names'. I really like all the different parts to your background and how wonderfully you put them all together. Great page! :)

Great page! I love all the elements you place under the photo to highlight it: circle, mesh, photo masks, frames. The red frame and shirt draw the eye right to your picture.
