Saturday June 16 Color Challenge

So many wonderful colors this week to choose from, it was tough to narrow it down. But this photo made it easier, since many of the colors from this week's challenge are in it. Sorry, everyone: it's another bird photo!

The baby Sandhill Cranes grow so quickly that I was happy to get this photo. A couple of weeks later, they already look like "teenagers", then in not too much more time, they look like their parents. You almost always see two parents and two chicks together. And I never get tired of seeing them!

Info is in the exif. Thanks for looking!

Beautiful. What a fabulous photo that is of the Crane family out for a walk. They look so adorable strutting down the street. I love that background papers and that wonderful bamboo frame. Great shot of red in the photo amid all the green.

Oh, thanks for sharing this, Diane! We don't see these birds around here like you do - right in the neighborhood. Would you like to see a layout about some canada geese? Those I have. I like the oriental look; very appropriate for the cranes.

Oh, no - never tired of your bird photos - in fact I got excited recognizing this must be one on the MB! LOVE your wonderful photo - what a great shot of the Crane family out for a stroll and amazing you even managed to get them each taking a step! I really like the background and bamboo frame you used along with coins and a pretty embellishment cluster. Super layout and please don't stop making bird photo pages - they're great! :)

Lovely photo and lovely layout! The background paper is beautiful and perfectly compliments the photo. The bamboo frame is also a perfect touch. I don't think I have ever seen Sand Hill Cranes either. Thanks for sharing this picture.
