Saturday Color Challenge 06 16 12

Deadwood is a restored, old western town in the Black Hills of South Dakota. It was a gold rush town with quite a rowdy reputation. After fighting for the Union Army, working as a lawman, and earning a living as a gambler, Wild Bill Hickok arrived there in 1876. He was only there about six weeks when he was shot dead during a card game by Jack McCall. We really enjoyed seeing a reinactment and hearing about the murder in the Number 10 saloon where the card game and killing actually happened.

This is awesome! Love the curled paper that looks like the siding on a building and the photos are great!
Neat alpha with the little pistols, too. The curl is a neat touch and I really like that background paper - kind of vintage looking. Wonderful photo of the street.
how fun! great job with the blending, and your paper layers are very effective. I love that alpha and pistols in the title! That photo was perfect for this color challenge. :) Thanks for joining in this week's Saturday Color Challenge!
Really like your alpha title--the paper is so fitting and the smaller photos and journaling add such depth to it all. Wonderful LO!!
This is so cool! Love your photos and blending and enjoyed your journaling. Also really like your title - I'm enjoying sharing in your trip! :)
I like the blending on your larger photo and the framing on the lower 2. Great Alpha and pistol. The background papers are perfect. I enjoyed your journaling!
