I've been to Hawaii at least six times, but it is still one of my 'Dream Vacations'. I hope to get there again, maybe next year. It is 'home' to me and I always hate to leave. Like the song 'Bali Ha'i' says: "Here am I, your special island! Come to me, come to me!" I could never get tired of visiting Hawaii. My favorite island is the Big Island, a very powerful island. Since 1952 there have been 34 eruptions, and since January 1983 eruptive activity has been continuous along the east rift zone. All told, Kīlauea ranks among the world's most active volcanoes and may even top the list.
