This is lovely, Gayle - I like the color palette you've chosen - I have so many photos in the same type paper frames (or mats) as the one you've scrapped - have never known quite what colors to use to scrap them until now! You did a wonderful job scrapping this one - I love the swirl and the clock is the perfect touch!

What a beautiful page! I love the heritage look, and this is so richly done. I love the swirls, the clock, and the shaped journaling. Your Dad looks handsome and proud (and young!)

What an incredible photo, fantastic quality and he is so young and handsome. I love how you incorporated the journaling and clock. The swirls bordering the journaling and bottom corner are great.

I like the very traditional style you've used. It's perfect for this formal photo of your very young father.

What an amazing photo to have... sad to think he worked so hard to follow his dream and it was cut short by the War. I know family commitments would have prevented him returning to his studies, which I am sure he never regretted, but still a shame to lose that dream. You scrapped this beautifully, it is possibly my favourite of yours! I love the gold with those neutral colours and the way you chose to lay this out... wonderful template choice and the clock certainly gives that feeling of time passing as well as being remembered... Love the direction you took this page in rather than a 'standard' high school page. Beautiful artistic page!
