HNC July 4 Stripes and Stars

 Share

Lots of stripes, and more than one star for this week's challenge.

This is what we are celebrating: the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. I enjoyed using Elisha's great new collection Patriette for most of this layout -- and other info is in the exif. file. Happy Fourth!

This looks amazing! I really like how you butted the torn paper together - it looks folded. The Declaration of Independence really looks good blended here too. Thanks for using Patriette!

Lovely layout. I love the Declaration on the rolled paper and the stars and stripes. Pretty colors. Great title.

Happy 4th to you, too, Diane! Wonderful idea for an Independence Day page...a bit of history. (I actually have the Constitution and the Declaration hanging in my LR, LOL!) Of course, that's the best part of the Declaration on your large paper. Love the colors of your LO and the special, small touches...the safety pinned tag hiding behind the flowers, sparkly flowers and sparklers, the swirls behind the great title. Frameable work!

Wow, so pretty Diane and wonderful words to remember and admire as such an important part of our freedom. As always, I love all the many careful and special touches around your page. Also really like how amazingly you put your background together. Gorgeous layout! :)

Beautiful layout - great extraction from the Declaration of Independence. The collection is perfect for this and love the fireworks. Great blending with the background papers, ribbons, strings, stars and papers. Very beautiful and strong.
