This is a photo of my friend Emily and I at our 8th grade graduation. We became friends in the first grade and still keep in touch. She's a treasure, for sure!

Once again, I enjoyed all the wonderful textures and jewelry of this month's club.

Beautiful photo and layout, Diane! Love the way you created and colored your background and really like the chain of trinkets along the bottom. Great journaling and special page - I keep looking through it and finding more careful touches - just wonderful. :)

Love, love, love the shades of blues in your pretty layout, Diane and I think the charms scattered across the page are just the perfect touch! Fabulous 8th grade photo! I wish I could find my 8th grade photos - you've made me stop and think about those days! I thought I was so grown up in the 8th grade! LOL

This is a lovely page. I do like the charm bracelet you have created. Also like your choice of colours for this.

Lovely! Such a pretty soft color. The jewelery does make nice embellishments - I like how you've used it for a border. The curled photo is a great touch - it really makes the photo pop.

Love the way you colored the background!! I like the way you gathered the necklace on the photo with a bow. And that photo-priceless!! I like the lifted deckle frame.

Diane this is gorgeous!! I may be wrong with the vintage but it looks 50s to me and the colours and little ribbon bow and jewel bow scream 50s to me... The idea to embellish with the charms gives a wonderful retro feel to the page, your smile hasn't changed and you both look so excited, fabulous photo to share!

Diane, that photo is a treasure. It's so sweet and happy. I can almost hear that white dress crinkle- loved that sound! Wonderful little hats and corsages and cake. Looks like such a happy day. I love that blue bow lifting off the page!! Perfectly embellished with timely charms..love that touch. Same for the font and the lifted and deckled photo edge..I'll need to look and see if it's original or if you added it. Really lovely work on coloring the template- great touch of orchid in there! The blue is so right for the theme, too. This came together so beautifully and it was fun to peek into your past!

Love the velvety blue background and the wonderful lifted frames for your fantastic photo. It all looks so 1950s with the tight bodices and full skirts ... and the hats! What a wonderful time to be a young woman. So gorgeous.
