Monday 7-9 NL Tutorial Challenge

 Share

I'm not sure I did this as well as I'd like, but Brandy Hackman's tutorial was easy to follow, and I think it could be adapted to any busy-patterned paper, not just geometrics. It was fun to give it a try! Here's a photo of DGS enjoying a snack. I used one of Syndee's Freeze Frames on the photo. Other info is in the exif. Thanks for looking!

This turned out great. I like the areas of the bold circles. It gives the page a shot of color without overpowering your grandson's photo. I like this a lot!

This is so sweet! Adorable photo and I really like the great job you did on your background. Love the way the little circles sorta remind me of popcorn! I like the way you framed the pic and I really like the colors you used. Great layout. :)

DGS is So cute! Love the bold circle paper and your blending to soften around the photo. Those blue green circles really compliment his gorgeous eyes.

Diane! I recognised that goregous little face straight off the message board! What a cutie indeed! I can harldy even see your paper with those eyes looking at me... love the circles to reflect the popcorn and the fact you chose a non patterned neutral to offset the patterned paper...
