This is the RHS of a double, I have been thinking a lot about my upcoming surgery, and I don't mean to go on about it, but it is kinda nice to be having a surgery I actually chose... In case I haven't joined the dots I go for breast reconstructive surgery on the 23rd 2 years after a double mastectomy with breast cancer. I am very excited... shallow as that sounds :hit-head-with-hammer:

These are awesome pages and your journaling is amazing. I wish you well on your upcoming surgery. I'm glad you told us what it was in your layout description since I didn't know from your layout. I'm sure you will have pages about the cause and recovery too to fill in the story in your albums. But I love how happy your pages feel...so optimistic. Stay strong.

The double-page spread really caught my eye in the Gallery... very visually exciting to look at with all the movement and colors. Nicely done. And good for you for going for reconstructive surgery. I am praying right now that it all goes as well as expected and that you have great peace and contentment with the results!

You're kidding, right Jode? Shallow?? I think not. You have been so thoughtful and introspective scrapping your feelings about your past and upcoming surgeries and when I think of you I think "brave" and "optimistic". I love the cheerful colors of your page and the happy swirls and "yippee"s. I really like how the two pages look together - even the "M" and "E" stretching across them both. I also really like all your word art, the arrows and the bigger blocked swirls which remind me of a game board - that you've been following along in your life. Great layout and good luck. :)

This is the happiest layout I think I've ever seen! Hard to believe the subject is surgery?!? What a great attitude you have! Good luck with the recovery - I hope it goes fast.

I don't think you are shallow at all. In fact I think you are one very brave women and a very talented one. I love these two layouts and know that you are always in my thoughts and prayers. bighug.gif

You aren't shallow at all! You are courageous.

Double page? Hmmm... I wonder why this is a two-sider.

You know how I love your journaling and titles and word-excerpts. This time I really like the way the swirls go across the pages. They are individual yet joined, and beautifully done. I love every bit of this!

I hope for all the best for you. May the surgeries go well and may you have a speedy recovery with as little pain as possible. :lovey-smilie:
