Tuesday Freebie Challenge

Hope it is ok that I altered the Freebie to fit my layout. I apoligize if you aren't supposed to do that. Here is my journalling:

The Enchanted Highway, in North Dakota, features the world’s largest metal sculptures, produced by artist Gary Greff. He is a retired teacher and principle and had never done any welding or artwork prior to 1989. He began dreaming of ways to bring tourists to the tiny town of Regent, ND, hoping to boost the local economy. The Tin Family (Papa Farmer pictured to the left) was erected in 1991. The last sculpture erected is Fisherman’s Dream in 2006 (middle left). The project is funded purely by donations.

The Enchanted Highway is off Interstate 94 (Exit 72) approximately 20 miles east of Dickinson, North Dakota. It then extends for 32 miles south to the town of Regent. The seven sculptures are spread out along the 32 miles of The Enchanted Highway. The picture blended into the paper is actually one I took of the roadway as we drove along admiring the sculptures. May, 2012

Supplies in EXIF file. I just noticed it doesn't list MRE Dynamic Brush Chalkboard in the EXIF file.

Awesome job. Love your blended background photo drawing your eye all the way into the layout. The sculpture photos are great as well. I would love to do that drive!

What an interesting page. I really like the blended photo in the bg - I cant imagine what it's like to travel a road so straight and so empty! Interesting pics too and an informative piece of journaling.

Very interesting. Those drives can be very long, how amazing must it be to see these sculptures. I like how you arranged them along the highway background. I like what you did with the freebie. I often change the colour or texture. That is one of the best parts of digital scrap booking.

So cool to see these pictures! That must have been an interesting sight to see. I enjoyed your journaling and love how you've used the freebie. And, by the way, if we aren't supposed to alter freebies, I'd be in constant trouble! :D That's part of the fun of digital!
