Saturday 6-30-12 Color Challenge -- Mom, Aunt Mae, Aunt Rose

The photo was taken by a professional photographer around 1918. The photo is of, from left to right, my Aunt Mae (Filomenia), my Aunt Rose (Julia Rose) and my Mom (Anna Maria). My Mom was born in April 1910, so she must have been around eight or so in the photo, maybe a bit younger. There was no date on the back of the photo, so I'm not sure when it was taken.

Supplies Used:

BMU Shabby Bakery Collection -- Paper Damask Grey

DEB Fade To Gray Collection -- Frame, Flowers, Leaves, Planter

PJO Project Memories Fall Color Collection -- Alphas

PJO Project Memories Collection Biggie -- Butterfly

This is stunning, Carol! I love the pop of color against the neutrals - it's just perfect. That is a charming photo, and your mother looks as if she has quite a little personality there. :) This is a lovely take on the heritage theme. I'm so glad you felt called to join this challenge!

What a great photo! You did a suberb job displaying the photo with the pretty papers and embellishments. Congratulations.

What a special photo Carol and you've scrapped it so beautifully. I love the way you framed it and placed it on such a beautiful background. I really like your titles and the splash of color in the flowers, too.
