I'm so impressed with your son. And what a great set of layouts to capture his achievement. My only question is why doesn't he look more tired!?!

Steven was tired and hurting when these photos were taken, but I think he was still running on adrenalin and SOOOO happy he finished the race. He had trained for six months, so he was actually in much better shape than when he ran 18 miles in a previous marathon he tried. If you had seen him later that day or the next few days, you would have seen the effects of the race much more.

Wow, I am enjoying these pages so much! You truly showed the adrenalin Steven was running on and the excitement of the entire race. Wonderful photos and descriptions and I am so impressed not only with your son's achievement, but at all the special work that went into creating such a spectacular two-page remembrance. I love that medal, too! Really great work and I enjoyed them so much.

I just love LOs that feature a LOT of pics - and do it well. You have definitely done this with these two pages. I'm going to save these to my idea folder! The strong vertical pic absolutely grabs attention, but it leads so well into the collage of pics, too. Yea, Sue! (And yea, Steven, for accomplishing this amazing feat!)
