What Lies Within

I forgot all about this TSC_Bella Brush set I downloaded over a month ago, so I'm having fun with it today. This is a card for my SIL who's lost over 50 lbs in the past year. I'm so proud of her! I will ink the edges and mount on coordinating cardstock.

I have been getting a lot of inspiration from Stampington's Take Ten magazine - which is their stamped card magazine. I don't really copy anything but it's a great resource for color combos, etc. and I love figuring out how to replicate the looks digitally. I'm finally learning that it's much easier to work on elements (i.e. the butterfly) in separate windows, then combine them onto the main layout. Duh! An aside - got this butterfly freebie elsewhere and I really like it b/c of it's transparency . . . but it has no body! Isn't that silly? And I'm too lazy to make one for it so bodyless it shall be!

Supplies in EXIF; TFL.

The butterfly is really pretty - you are right, the bit of opacity makes is special. There must be many butterflies in your stash you can borrow, no? I love the 3d look of your corners.
