My sil took this photo of Tom and I in front of a Lake Superior sunset. I wanted to make something special for hubby for his upcoming birthday, so I scrapped the photo, "mirror printed it (toner base printer) then used Golden Gel Medium to transfer the image onto a framed 6x6 canvas. Once dried I then wet the paper and began rubbing it off leaving the color pitments adhered to the canvas. A good coat of matte sealer and the project is finished, wrapped and waiting for party day!

Oh, how beautiful, Lei! Is this for a birthday gift for your dh? Sooooo creative and so lovely! What a great picture of the two of you - love the silhouette and all of the techniques you applied! Maybe you should be our next SG designer! Or layout artist? Hmmmmm....thinking outloud here - but I know you are taking much needed family time and yet, you'd be such a good candidate! You could teach classes locally though - I'd be the first to sign up! Beautifully done, my good friend!
