Green and brown... I took this picture last week in the Hills where there is lots of green... but it is pretty dark - greys and blacks... the tree stumps look almost black as they are all so wet...

Anyway, I tried an overlay to show they really were brown and adjusted colours in the image and the frame etc... and for some reason I made this simple picture part of quite a busy page... I just liked it like that so Ieft it, I am sure it violates all kinds of design principles but I LIKE it :-)

Beautiful layout- great use of the brown lace to anchor your photo, and I love the monochromatic embellishments.

Jody, I don't like it - I LOVE it! The colors and pattern in the background paper (papers?) set off the photo beautifully, and the lace borders echo the laciness of the tree branches. The whole page is wonderful!

No need to apologize for breaking design "rules". This looks fabulous! Somehow all the busy-ness works, I think mostly because of the energy in your photo. I love all the greens and the way the leaf pattern echos the rushing water. The lace reminds me of the branches, too. Wonderful photo, beautifully scrapped!

I think it's great, Jody! Gorgeous shade of green & the photo is very nice - I like the rainsoaked look - very good for a green challenge. I also like the way the flowers really frame the photo & make it look like a window onto the world.

Actually, I think it pretty much explemifies all of the design principles, Jody and it is stunning! The black lacy looks so compllments the beautiful running stream and the ribbon is just the perfect touch - fabulous background paper - it is THE perfect layout, my friend!

The overlay on the background is fabulous and really mimics the water. The monochromatic look if fabulous and it all fits together perfectly. Since I don't know anything about design I don't have a clue if it violates any rules - I just know I love it!

I really like the movement in your layout, as if the tree is falling but those lovely little flowers are holding it still, just for now. I really like the dainty lace and flowers coupled with the rustic outdoors. Beautifully done.

This is absolutely gorgeous. I love the background you used and the photo is wonderful. It's so green and lush looking from the rain. The flower cluster with the ribbon is just so pretty, as are the other clusters. Beautiful.
