July SS Club School Days

I have no idea what the occasion was, but a professional photographer came to take pictures of our 4th grade class. I managed to get a copy years later when our local newspaper printed it under a title called something like "Historical Photos of Yesteryear". Did that make me feel old! :o

I used Melissa Renfro's delightful Chalk and Chalkboards July Scrap Simple Club. Full info is in the exif.

Gosh Diane you are a working advertisement of wonder for the Scrap Simple Clubs! How creatively and beautifully you use them - one is more wonderful than the next! Special photo and you gave it just the right "schoolroom" treatment. Love the blackboard and giggled at your journaling. I also really like your title and the embellishments in the corner. I am in awe of your talent! Super page. :)

WHAT! Historical photos of yesteryear??? Maybe missprint - should have been, "Hysterical photos - a few years ago." I love the border and the chalkboard background - perfect. Your choice of font for the chalkboard is great. Wonderful journaling - as I recall you said previously you always behaved and never skipped school.

Is that you front right?!?! Great shot! Love the blue with the chalkboard... the little cluster and swirls are so perfect and I like your chalky border... That font is so good for 4th grade too... love it. You really are doing such wonderful pages with this month's club :-)

I like the humorous touch you gave this photo! The chalky elements, blackboard background and cursive school font add a lot of flair to your page. I like the little stapled tags for your title, too. Wonderful page!

You have got the best photos ever! How incredibly fortunate to have this treasure. I am so impressed by the clothing the children are wearing, the girls mostly all in lovely dresses and the boys in button up long sleeved shirts. Your chalk embellishments are perfect and I love the cursive writing for your journaling.
