Today's challenge is to use stripes in your layouts! Earlier this week, dh called us all outside to see the Buck Convention in the field. There were at least seven buck all hanging out together! We are really enjoying the wildlife here! Now if I could only get a photo of that fox....

What remarkable photos! I really like the way you used the large photo of all seven, accented with close-ups of small groups. The stripes, and the twiggy alpha and embellishments are perfect for the photos, making a lovely layout.

We, too, get deer in the yard. I've looked up from my computer at a sense of motion to find whole families of five to seven parading through my front yard. But I've never seen this many bucks all at once. There was an article in the Washington Post this week about the Belgian ambassador, who was upset because the deer - two does and a buck - had disappeared from his garden. His gardener found them next door in another embassy garden, and nudged them "home". He also remarked, "You can have deer or flowers. We have deer." I totally relate to that!

This is such a great layout. I love your photos of the bucks. Its just wonderful that you can enjoy their visits like that. I also love how you used the striped paper. It looks great in the background and with the twiggy letters!

I don't know how I missed this lovely layout. The photos of the bucks are incredible and how wonderful to have nature like that in your backyard. I love the title you gave the layout.
