The cool place to be near me is the beach. My husband took this pic during our last visit on one of those perfect Northwest days. While the rest of the country had a heat wave this summer, it is has been cloudy most of the summer where I live in Washington. We drove to Oregon to escape our own weather.
Thanks for looking.
Here are the materials I used.

The journaling:
In the Pacific Northwest the beach is frequently much cooler than it is inland. Often the morning fog lingers on well into the afternoon. So when the temperatures rise in town, the place to be is the beach. Nothing beats a cloudless day on the Oregon Coast with a cool breeze, the calming lull of the waves, and to top it off a pastel sunset.
