Opening Day Color Challenge 7/27/2012 Red, White and Blue

These photos were snapped with my cell phone while on a recent trip. I didn't take my "real" camera, because I didn't realize we were sight seeing too!!

DH informed my that I didn't use "blue" but I used "turquoise" on my layout...he isn't the best with colors...but I told him any interpretation of blue would work...right??

Great layout Conda. I love covered bridges, so I love your photos and journaling. And I agree, any interpretation of blue will work - so you are right lol!

As far as the colors... just tell Leroy you were using a well-worn faded American flag for your inspiration

Great photos from your camera! I love the way you've arranged the papers here and the great mix of patterns. The sunflowers add a lovely touch. It all looks perfectly Americana! (including "your" blue

Yeah, it's blue enough for me! Great LO. All those angles you have created sort of mimic the structure of the beams shown in your pic! I love covered bridges and we have a lot of them here where we live. In fact, when Jo Corne and her family were here a few weeks ago, we took them through one!
