July 26-Stripes-Jax Winnie the Pooh

This is one of the photos from Jaxon's 6 month photo shoot (Target). I love the photo but he is looking off the page, which I think is a design no no. I tried flipping it horizontally, not sure why ... he's just looking off the page in the other direction! Thought maybe balancing with more embellishments on the left might detract from his gaze. Did this also with the Newsletter Challenge of One Big Photo in mind.

I saw this sweet little face and beautiful smile in the little thumbnail and knew it had to be one of your cuties, Cheryllann! :) Adorable photo and I couldn't tell at first what you meant by looking off the page- I think it's fine because actually his body is facing left! DIdn't bother me anyway - I think it looks great! Love your striped background and great masking and I really like your cute embellishments (being a Mickey lover myself.) Also really like your font and cute teddy! Super layout! :)

Jaxon is absolutely adorable. I love those little kissable red cheeks of his and what a smile he has. I see he's wearing a 'Pooh' hat. How cute. Love the background paper and those mouse ear balloons and teddy bear are just too cute. I think the photo is wonderful and I love that his head is turned a little, it's very natural looking.

What a sweetie! I like the neutral colors in the background and the color in the embellies. Wonderful job!

Jaxon is so cute, especially with those rosy cheeks and that Pooh hat! i love Pooh myself, and now i'm itching to scrap some of the photos i have of Neko-chan wearing his own Pooh hat. =) Love the cute balloons too. As for Jaxon looking off the camera, i have plenty of photos of my kids like that and i don't think it's an issue. There's a certain charm about photos where the subject's not looking at the camera.

Nicely done!
