I have been meaning to scrap some of these photos since I took them so this was the perfect challenge. Wilpena Pound formed approx 550 million years ago and is the richest source of multi celled fossils from this period, proving that multi celled animals existed on Earth this long ago. You can see layers in the rock whilst on the ground, but you cannot see the volcano like shape until you are in the air. Breathtaking.

Very cool, Jody. I'm glad you got these pics scrapped. Sounds like a wonderful trip and a fascinating area. I just want to know if you two wore those shirts just for this challenge. :D Congrats on using all 6 colors in the LO! 2468who-do-we-appreciate.gif2468who-do-we-appreciate.gif You ROCK! THanks for joining the challenge!

Wow, this is awesome. Spectacular photos - I can only imagine how it was in person! Love the embellishments and background you used and the photo of you and Darren in the plane is wonderful! I enjoyed reading your notes and journaling, too! Wonderful page, Jode! :)

Wow - amazing photos! I love the use of altimeters on your page; they add a nice roundness against all the sharp angles, (as well as being appropriate, of course).Cool ribbon touch. And I am applauding your use of ALL the colors in today's challenge and doing it so beautifully!:D

Whenever I see a perfect cluser, I'm ready to guess that it's your work Jody. These are great photos, beautifully presented.
