Lovely, Jode - what a sweet memory and your touching journaling explains so much about how the Olympics are more than the "games". I love your photo and wonderful extraction and how you typed around the flying Nadia. I also really like your journaling and photo in light colors against the black background - giving it the dramatic effect it really was! I remember this too and how exciting it all was. Also really like your ribbons and title - what a stunning page with lots of memories! Wonderful layout!

You know I love how you make your words/journaling/letters become design elements. Here your journaling emphasises that amazing photo of an amazing moment. The black/white combo give it the drama it deserves. I love the curve of the bracket balancing the design as well -- and of course ribbons are the perfect embellishment. It's a joy to see your work!
