A highlight of the holiday my husband and I had this month was being able to visit with two of my first cousins that I have not seen in years. All my first cousins are a lot older than I am because my mother was the youngest by 9 years in her family and she married in her late twenties. This cousin out lived his parents and bachelor brother to be the last one to run the family farm. His two other brothers left the farm during hard times when the farm could not support them all. I visited one of the other brothers but did not have a photo taken as he has been undergoing cancer treatment for cancer on his face.
