Sorry for taking so long to reply. I've been working on other projects that needed to get done around the house. I'm not sure I have any advice. But here goes...first, I picked a rather simple photograph that I really liked. Then I thought about what two colors would look good as background colors to blend. I just happened to have 2 digital papers the right colors, and one of them had a nice texture to it. Then I just played around with "perfecting" the blended edges the way I liked it. I really think it was just beginner's luck! Good luck and have fun...it's addicting!
