My very first page, ever. I'm working on a book for my mom, of photos that she took in Oregon. Feedback, hints, tips, suggestions, etc. is much appreciated.

Love the photo filling the letters of Oregon. I'm an Oregon native, and spend all the time I can at the coast. If she identified where she took the photos, it might be nice to label them or add some journaling, but it's a great page! Hard to believe it's your first.

Nice! Great work on your title... did you make your background from scratch? i agree, some journalling would help give the layout more meaning and character. But that said, it's a great first page! =)

The blue background paper is a freebie that I got somewhere; I did make the mountains and swooshes. Thanks for the tip about journaling; I'll have to get my mom to tell me the story. :)
