August Swap Crop - For Aggie - Fort Crailo
Aggie visited the historic Fort Crailo and gave me the wonderful photos she took of the inside of this home. This Fort is said to be the place where the song Yankee Doodle Dandy was written. I was so interested in the location that I researched the song on Wikipedia and reviewed the Fort Crailo Facebook Page. I used information and pictures from these sites to create a double page for her.

Pretty page, the photos look like they are on a museum wall. That is a really neat font, what is it? I like your bottom border - such a nice combination of things, especially the map. Thanks so much for all your work. It's a great layout.

The Font for the picture labeling is Birmingham - regular
The Font for the notebook writing is Dali - regular
The Font for the Fort Crailo title page is Arabic Typesetting - regular

I am also sending you a journaling page I made (from Bride's idea in her swap layout) that contains the same title and background paper so you can write your journal if you like.

Wow! What a great page and what a fabulous site to visit. Looks like someplace that I need to visit in the near future. Love the grey paper with the white lace border and the map at the bottom of the page. You placed the photos perfectly on the page and added a simple frame around them. Great use of the notebook and glasses.

I love the grey background and the pretty edge. I also like the journal book and arrangement of the photos. A lovely and interesting layout.
