Thursday 8/23: Quote Challenge - "Sitting on the Dock"
I was sitting on this dock at the NJ shore when I decided to play with the timer setting on my camera to see if I could get a shot. And, I did - quite a few! I blended that photo with one of the bay - it was a gorgeous day and those water sparkles are actually real and in my pic - not scrapped in! :)
(PS the netting is already there on Cindy's great paper - I didn't do that myself)

Marilyn, I love the two blended photos and the quote. That's really a lovely photo of the water with the sparkles. Perfect background.

The two blended photos are wonderful-they look like this photo was meant to be as is. I love that natural sparkletoo - I would have sworn it was a twinkle brush if you hadn't said, it is soooo inviting.... You always do gorgeous blending and your quotes are always meaningful as you have shown yet again, I really like this quote on so many levels. The roped paper is perfect for the feel of this page and do I see a touch of wood at the bottom of the page echoing that jetty? It looks so simple but it isn't... lots of little details to enjoy here!

I love how you blended the picture to the background. The most special thing about the layout is the picture. I love how you took it instead of asking someone else to take it for you ;)

Wow -- super blending! I love the overall effect of a peaceful summer day. I especially like the sunlight glinting off the water and I love how you added some netting to the side of the page. Lovely quote, too. Beautiful and special layout!

Wow, that is an amazing photo with the sparkles on the water, plus the fact that you used the camera timer! WTG, Marilyn!! The shadows in the pic are great. And, you captured a gull! The photo just blends in beatifully with your bg; love the watercolor mask! Such pretty water in the scene, BTW. The pale blue and netting are just the right touch. Such a restful, serene scene and LO. It just makes me say, "Ahhhhh....."
