This is such a pretty paper to work with! Thanks, Angie! DS emailed me this photo of an owl that has been hanging out in his backyard. He's hoping the owl isn't trying to court Hedwig, the plastic owl that lives on his deck!

Great photo of the owl! He does blend in nicely with the tree - took me a minute to spot him! I like how you framed the photo with the greenery and brush work, and lined the yellow piece of the background with the ribbons. Great job using the freebie paper.

I really love this vine circling from behind to the front of your photo - it looks awesome. Great photo too of the owl in the tree. I also really like the subtle addition of the border/ribbon on the yellow background.

Gosh, I can't believe I missed this super page! GREAT owl photo and I love the composition with the tree branches. Really like how the freebie is so perfect and the trimming you added. The vines are masterful in how you wound them around the pic and your subtle brushwork is just gorgeous. Wonderful layout! :)

Oh I am laughing out loud... I soomed in on the photo right away as it just jumps out and was admiring the composition and the way you captured the moss amongst the leaves... then my eye widened out to the edges of the page and I read the title... and thought "Owl?? What owl??" hahaha. So I looked more closely and found him - what a great (er!) photo! Love your Hawthorn ribbons and use of brown, it really lifts the freebie, great page Diane!
