Paris Sights, June 2, p.1 of 2
Mark and the boys slept in today, and I went to Notre Dame for Mass. It is beautiful, but darker than York Cathedral – the stained glass is darker and more intense, and the stone is darker.
The bulletin was in four languages, with others available. As soon as one Mass ends, another begins in another part of the church. Sightseers wander the sides and back, most of them quietly.
Bought flowers at an enormous, block-size flower market, then managed to find a bus that brought me back very close to the hotel.
Supplies in EXIF, thanks for stopping by!
