A bit late, but this photo lent itself to black, white and orange!

 

journalling:

Callan went for his eye exam on Tuesday. Rosemarie told him he needs to wear his glasses for close up work - his eye sight is fine but this will make his eyes less tired.

Rosemarie also checked his lashes as he gets lots of stuff in his eyes... and because he has such long, thick lashes and they are so curled he needs to wash them daily with a soft cloth!

Fabulous layout, Jody! You got me this time though - I was sure it was our Amanda FT's layout when I saw it on the mb because she loves glasses! :) I should have guessed it was yours! I'll bet Callan looks so handsome in his glasses! I love everything about this layout - love all the glasses and the chart magnified by them - the orange ribbon entertwined throughout is just the perfect, perfect touch of color! Absolutely fabulous!

Gorgeous layout, Jody - a wonderfully kinetic representation of a child sitting still. I'm so sorry for Callan - long lashes, and glasses to magnify them. Poor boy! :lol:

Marvelously put-together! I LOVE all the eye-glasses and the little bits and pieces that you tied together with that lovely orange ribbon. Love the photos of Callan having his exam, too. Why do boys get the long lashes??? B)

What a cool page! Love the way you framed Callan in eyeglasses and all the eyeglasses around the page. Ineresting journaling too - and wow about those eyelashes.
