I managed to figure out how to spend a little time working on my computer, and finished this. Wasn't planning on that kind of journaling, but it did make me think about finding some different information. Challenges are good, right?

Great photos! I enjoyed the journalling having never heard of this place :-) beautifully embellished with Wildflowers and a great design, easy to sit and look at and ponder... :-)

I really like this template and the muted retro papers you've used. The Colombia River looks impressive, I'm going to have to find out exactly where it is.

What a lovely layout of one of my favorite places in the world! The Columbia River Gorge was carved out by glaciers. It ends just East of Portland, Oregon. There is an incredible 1920s classic road, The Historic Columbia River Highway, that was an engineering marvel of its time. It goes by about 7 beautiful waterfalls as it follows the Columbia River Gorge. Originally, it went all the way to The Dalles, but once the Interstate Highway was completed, only portions remain. Some of it has been re-opened as a bike/hiking trail. The Columbia River is the border between Washington State and Oregon for most of the border between the two states.

We were just there a few weeks ago! Isn't that a beautiful drive? You captured some great photos. I love your layout, the colors, and especially the leafy embellishments. Great journaling, too. Thanks for bringing back some very happy memories!
