My great grandmother. She looks like a teenager to me - which would make it from the late 1880's or early 1890's. I'm sure if I pulled out my historical fashion books I could date it more precisely.

April, this is absolutely beautiful. What a wonderful photo that is of your great grandmother. I love the beautiful soft colors, the ribbon cluster, the flowers gently falling from above, the beautiful background paper and the hearts. Truly beautiful.

Gorgeous color palette, April! Love the cluster and your cheerful choice of colors; I always associated such with "heritage colors" which tend to be dark/aged. I will join your crop tonight also. Sounds interesting.
