Fritzy

My Fritzy - He was with me longer than anybody outside of my family, and they are 2000 miles away!

Fritzy was with me when I graduated from College, when I got my first job, when I met and married my husband, when my kids were born, when I joined the design team!

He even traveled with me to Kansas one year! He was a good boy, he was MY boy - Mark said he was the alpha male in the house! For the last couple of years his cage was right next to our bed so I could keep a really close eye on him. He would pitter patter across the front of the cage whenever I came in the room until I picked him up. I miss him so much.

You made me cry, Amy! What a beautiful tribute to your little friend! Your layout is beautiful - the photo is so sweet and the cluster colors are just perfect for that precious photo. I'm so sorry you've lost your friend - I know you miss him.

Thanks, Amy, for the tutorial and reminder to take advantage of those JIF products. You've shown that it's not cheating - you've made this layout so "yours."

And thank you more for sharing your story.

Oh Amy... I was coming to comment on how much I loved the layout in the newsletter and then I read the extra notes... :-( now I can't remember what I was going to say! What a beautiful story about a beautiful friend... 32 years is a long time, and what a wonderful amount of time to have together... Thanks for sharing the full story with us... The colours in this page bring out Fritzy perfectly... and I suspect match his personality... I get vibrancy and joy from these colours, not sadness and pain... I can only imagine that as sad as you are this is how you TRULY remember him... as a little 'star of the show'... wonderful design and colours and emotion.

Such a beautiful and caring tribute LO for your boy. He's a beautiful bird and it sounds as if he had a charming personality. I am so very sorry for your sad loss. He'll be in your heart forever. I hope you'll frame this lovely page to help you smile when you think of him.

I did exactly the same thing as Jode. The layout really caught my eye and then I read your journalling and it tugged at my heart. What a nice tribute to your little friend.
