Sept 27 - End of Summer - This Morning

This started as a layout about the changing morning sky. As fall approaches the morning sky is especially colorful with greens, aquas, blues and purples and the clouds are more whispy than cotton balls. The air is a bit cooler but you can still feel the heaviness. In my head I started singing Don Henley's song "Boys of Summer" because that song has always signaled for me the end of summer. In NY you would hear it blasting from car radios at the beach on Labor Day Weekend. It always leaves my heart yearning for June.

Wow! This is amazing. And gorgeous. And perfect for the end of summer. You know how I love blending, and this has me staring and staring -- you've done it so well. I especially like how the colors all melt into each other. The birds look great! I really thought it was a photo until I read your credits. .... And I sang the whole song out loud! (fortunately, you can't hear me :P )

Absolutely wonderful layout, Cheryll!

Absolutely incredible. The colors in the background paper are superb. The yellow (sun), the aqua, the greens are so wonderful to look at and so soothing. Your blending is great and I love the birds sitting on the wire. The grass in the foreground and the water in the background reminds me of a beach area along the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California. And what a beautiful song that is. The words are incredible.
